If your child wears UV-blocking contacts, still use sunglasses. Think of the contacts as an extra layer, not a swap for glasses.

Kids with a script can use photochromic lenses. They darken in sunlight and go clear inside. They give steady UV block in one pair. No lens swap is needed.

Home care includes rest in a dim room, cool compresses, preservative-free tears, and pain relievers as needed. Do not rub the eyes. Do not wear contacts. Do not use leftover numbing drops.
