Lower blepharoplasty addresses tear trough deformity caused by fat prolapse, excess skin, or severe laxity that filler cannot correct. Your surgeon can remove or reposition fat, tighten skin, and rebuild the orbital rim contour. Filler may be used as an adjunct after surgery to fine-tune the result.

The Filler Treatment Process

Tear Trough Treatment Questions

If your dark circles come from volume loss and shadowing, filler can improve them. If the darkness comes from melanin deposition (hyperpigmentation) or visible blood vessels showing through thin skin, filler alone will not address those causes.
