Alvin Siv, O.D.

Bio

Alvin Siv, OD, is an optometrist who began his education at Virginia Tech, where he first developed an interest in the science behind eye health. Dr. Siv then went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, where hands-on patient care became a central part of his training. All told, Dr. Siv brings a wealth of training and real clinical experience to every interaction with a patient. Dr. Siv carries all of that training and experience into every visit, making it easier for patients to feel at ease.

Dr. Siv has dedicated a significant part of his career to Contact Lenses & Fittings and Ocular Disease Management, and that shows in the quality of care patients receive. Pediatric eye care is something Dr. Siv is especially attentive to, because the earlier a vision issue is caught and treated in a child, the better the outcome tends to be. Finding the right contact lens is not always straightforward, especially for patients with irregular corneas or more complex prescriptions, and Dr. Siv has the training to make sure each fit is just right. Beyond the core specialties, Dr. Siv also handles Pre- and Post-Operative Care, and Pediatric Eye Care, so patients do not have to look far for the care they need.

Dr. Siv stays involved through membership in the American Optometric Association, the Virginia Optometric Association, and the Northern Virginia Optometric Association, an investment in professional development that benefits every patient. Music is something Dr. Siv enjoys outside of work, whether that means playing or simply listening. Dr. Siv is available at The Eye Center Sterling, The Eye Center Leesburg, or The Eye Center Fairfax, so there are several convenient options for patients.
