Bio
April Mishley, O. D., OD, is an optometrist who chose to pursue a career in eye care after completing undergraduate studies at University of Massachusetts Amherst. Next came Dr. Mishley's Doctor of Optometry at Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, where she received rigorous training in both the theory and practice of eye care. Dr. Mishley carries all of that training and experience into every visit, making it easier for patients to feel at ease. It is this kind of thorough preparation that allows Dr. Mishley to approach each patient visit with both knowledge and confidence.
Specializing in Low Vision and Emergency Eye Care is what sets Dr. Mishley apart, and patients notice that depth of knowledge right from the start. Dr. Mishley enjoys working with younger patients and makes sure that every visit feels as comfortable and stress-free as possible for kids and their families. In addition to those specialties, Dr. Mishley works with patients who need help with Binocular Vision, and Pediatric Eye Care as well. The way Dr. Mishley sees it, a patient who understands what is happening with their eyes is a patient who can make the best decisions for their health.
You can visit Dr. Mishley at Rhode Island Eye Institute East Providence, Rhode Island Eye Institute South Kingstown, or Rhode Island Eye Institute Fall River, and any of those locations would be glad to see you. Dr. Mishley looks forward to meeting new patients and being a trusted part of their eye care for years to come. Dr. Mishley understands that choosing an eye care provider is an important decision, and hopes to earn your trust. Taking good care of your eyes is important at every stage of life, and Dr. Mishley is here to make that easier.
