Bio
Charles Glass, MD, is an ophthalmologist whose path to eye care started while studying at University of Pennsylvania. From there, Dr. Glass pursued and earned a medical degree at Jefferson Medical College, building expertise in diagnosis, treatment, and surgery. Dr. Glass trained as a resident at Brown University, where he took on the role of chief resident and demonstrated strong leadership throughout. Dr. Glass has contributed to clinical research in eye care, showing a commitment that goes beyond just seeing patients.
Dr. Glass has dedicated a significant part of his career to Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS) and Glaucoma Surgery, and that shows in the quality of care patients receive. Because glaucoma can affect your vision bit by bit over many years without you realizing it, Dr. Glass takes a proactive approach to screening and treating this condition before it becomes a serious problem. Cataracts are something Dr. Glass sees regularly, and with each patient, the goal is the same: make sure they understand what is happening, feel comfortable, and come out the other side with clear, healthy vision. Beyond the core specialties, Dr. Glass also handles Cataract Surgery, and Intraocular Lens Implants (IOLs), so patients do not have to look far for the care they need.
Being named a Top Doctor is something Dr. Glass takes seriously, and it reflects the care and attention that patients receive. Dr. Glass speaks Spanish alongside English, so patients who prefer to communicate in that language can do so comfortably. Outside the office, Dr. Glass enjoys running, a habit that keeps him active and energized. You can see Dr. Glass at ReFocus Eye Health Lumberton or ReFocus Eye Health Marlton, making it easy to find a location that fits your schedule.
