Bio
Darrell Reisner, MD, is an ophthalmologist who began his education at University of Connecticut, where he first developed an interest in the science behind eye health. Dr. Reisner followed that with a Doctor of Optometry degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry, an experience that gave him strong clinical skills and a deep understanding of patient care. Dr. Reisner completed his residency at Georgetown University Medical Center, where he spent years working closely with patients and refining his clinical skills. Dr. Reisner carries all of that training and experience into every visit, making it easier for patients to feel at ease.
Dr. Reisner has dedicated a significant part of his career to Glaucoma Surgery and LASIK & Refractive Surgery, and that shows in the quality of care patients receive. For glaucoma, early detection makes all the difference, and Dr. Reisner knows that well, which is why this condition gets special attention during every eye exam. A cloudy lens is something that happens to many people as they get older, and when it starts to interfere with daily life, Dr. Reisner is here to explain the options and help patients get their clarity back. Beyond the core specialties, Dr. Reisner also handles Cataract Surgery, and General Ophthalmology, so patients do not have to look far for the care they need.
Dr. Reisner is available at The Eye Center Sterling, The Eye Center Leesburg, or The Eye Center Fairfax, so there are several convenient options for patients. Dr. Reisner looks forward to meeting new patients and being a trusted part of their eye care for years to come. Dr. Reisner understands that choosing an eye care provider is an important decision, and hopes to earn your trust. Dr. Reisner is always glad to welcome new patients and looks forward to being a trusted part of their eye care.
