Hira Javeed, OD, is an optometrist who earned her undergraduate degree from Montclair State University, setting the foundation for a career spent helping people see their best. Next came Dr. Javeed's Doctor of Optometry at Pennsylvania College of Optometry, graduating magna cum laude, where she received rigorous training in both the theory and practice of eye care. Together, these experiences have given Dr. Javeed a strong and well-rounded foundation that patients benefit from every day. All told, Dr. Javeed brings a wealth of training and real clinical experience to every interaction with a patient.

Dr. Javeed's specialty areas include Primary Eye Care and Myopia Management, and that focused training is something patients benefit from right away. Children's eyes grow and change rapidly, and Dr. Javeed knows that catching problems during those early years is one of the best things that can be done for their long-term vision. Finding the right contact lens is not always straightforward, especially for patients with irregular corneas or more complex prescriptions, and Dr. Javeed has the training to make sure each fit is just right. Dr. Javeed also has expertise in Pediatric Eye Care, and Specialty Contact Lenses, giving patients access to a wide range of care in one place.
