Bio
Justin Arnett MD, MD, is a vitreoretinal surgeon & medical retina specialist who chose to pursue a career in eye care after completing undergraduate studies at Harvard University. Dr. MD then earned his medical degree from University of Pittsburgh School Of Medicine, graduating cum laude, spending years mastering the medical and surgical side of eye care. Dr. MD then completed an internship at Englewood Hospital in New Jersey, gaining hands-on experience with real patients in a clinical setting. During residency at Shiley Eye Institute at UC San Diego, Dr. MD honed his ability to handle a wide range of eye care situations under the supervision of experienced physicians. Dr. MD rounded out his training with a fellowship in Retina & Vitreous, which gave him a deep, focused understanding of the area where he now spends most of his time helping patients.
Specializing in Diabetic Retinopathy and Macular Degeneration is what sets Dr. MD apart, and patients notice that depth of knowledge right from the start. The retina converts light into the signals that become the images you see, and Dr. MD knows that even small changes there can have a big effect on daily life, which is why regular monitoring matters. Beyond the core specialties, Dr. MD also handles Retina & Vitreous Disease, and PVD (Flashes & Floaters), so patients do not have to look far for the care they need. Dr. MD believes that every patient deserves a clear explanation and enough time to ask questions, and that is what they get at every visit.
Outside of work, Dr. MD cherishes time with family, and that same care and attention comes into every patient visit. Dr. MD is available at Retina Consultants of NJ Belleville, Retina Consultants of NJ Ridgewood, or Retina Consultants of NJ Jersey City, so there are several convenient options for patients. Eye care should feel approachable, not stressful, and that is exactly the kind of experience Dr. MD aims to provide. New and returning patients alike are always welcome, and Dr. MD is glad to be part of your eye health journey.
