Bio

Dr. Kryshtalskyj completed undergraduate studies in Medical Sciences and Biology at Western University, followed by a Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Toronto. An MPH in Epidemiology from Harvard preceded residency training in ophthalmology at Calgary, where Dr. Kryshtalskyj held the Chief Resident role for two terms and earned the Martin T. Spoor Memorial Award for surgical excellence.

As an oculofacial plastic surgeon, Dr. Kryshtalskyj provides focused surgical care addressing conditions of the orbit, periocular oncology, eyelid ptosis, and complex ocular trauma. This scope of practice draws on training across multiple disciplines, combining functional restoration with attention to aesthetic outcomes for patients facing conditions affecting the structures around the eyes.

Dr. Kryshtalskyj is certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Canadian Ophthalmological Society. Dr. Kryshtalskyj speaks French in addition to English, and patients can request either language for visits.
