Bio

Nancy Choo, MD, FAAO, is a cornea & glaucoma surgeon with a dedicated background in eye care and a genuine commitment to helping patients. Residency training at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center gave Dr. Choo hands-on experience across many areas of eye care, preparing her well for the years ahead. Dr. Choo rounded out her training with a fellowship in Corneal surgery, which gave her a deep, focused understanding of the area where she now spends most of her time helping patients. Dr. Choo carries all of that training and experience into every visit, making it easier for patients to feel at ease.

Dr. Choo has dedicated a significant part of her career to Glaucoma Surgery and LASIK & Refractive Surgery, and that shows in the quality of care patients receive. Glaucoma can sneak up without warning, and the damage it causes to the optic nerve is often invisible until it is already significant, so Dr. Choo makes screening for it a priority. If you have ever wondered whether LASIK could work for you, Dr. Choo is the kind of provider who will sit down, go through the details honestly, and help you make the right decision. Dr. Choo also has expertise in General Ophthalmology, and Cornea Surgery, giving patients access to a wide range of care in one place.

Dr. Choo sees patients at Advanced Eye Care Center Wayne, and the goal there is always to make the experience straightforward and stress-free. Dr. Choo looks forward to meeting new patients and being a trusted part of their eye care for years to come. If you are looking for an eye care provider who will take the time to get to know you, Dr. Choo would be happy to see you. Dr. Choo is always glad to welcome new patients and looks forward to being a trusted part of their eye care.
