Bio

Randa Garrana, MD, is a refractive surgeon & cornea specialist with a background that begins at American University of Beirut, where she built the academic skills that would shape her career. After that, Dr. Garrana completed her medical degree at New York University, diving deep into the study of how the eye works and how to keep it healthy. Dr. Garrana then completed an internship at New York University Medical Center, Manhattan VA Hospital, gaining hands-on experience with real patients in a clinical setting. After graduating, Dr. Garrana completed a residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, gaining the kind of patient-facing experience that no classroom can replicate. Dr. Garrana finished her formal training with a fellowship in Cornea and Refractive Surgery, which allowed her to zero in on the kind of care she provides today.

When it comes to LASIK & Refractive Surgery and Corneal Cross-Linking, Dr. Garrana brings both deep training and hands-on experience to every appointment. Dealing with cataracts is something Dr. Garrana does every day, and the approach is always the same: take the time to explain things clearly, answer every question, and make sure the patient feels good about their care.
