Rick Graebe, OD, FOVDR, is an optometrist who earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University, setting the foundation for a career spent helping people see their best. Dr. Graebe followed that with a Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University, an experience that gave him strong clinical skills and a deep understanding of patient care. Dr. Graebe finished his formal training with a fellowship in College of Optometrists in Vision Development, which allowed him to zero in on the kind of care he provides today. It is this kind of thorough preparation that allows Dr. Graebe to approach each patient visit with both knowledge and confidence.
Dr. Graebe's specialty areas include Behavioral optometry and Vision Therapy, and that focused training is something patients benefit from right away. Vision therapy is a structured program of exercises and activities designed to improve how the eyes and brain communicate, and Dr. Graebe guides each patient carefully through the process. The way Dr. Graebe sees it, a patient who understands what is happening with their eyes is a patient who can make the best decisions for their health. Each patient who comes in gets Dr. Graebe's full attention and a clear, honest explanation of what is going on and what can be done about it.
Membership in the Optometric Vision Development & Rehabilitation Association is something Dr. Graebe values, as it keeps Dr. Graebe current with the standards and advances in the field. Patients are welcome to see Dr. Graebe at Neuro-Visual Performance Institute - Versailles, where every visit is designed to be as comfortable and productive as possible. Whether it is your first visit or one of many, Dr. Graebe is glad to welcome you. Your eye health is important, and Dr. Graebe is here to make sure it gets the attention it deserves.
