Ronald Sachs, MD, is a retina specialist with a background that begins at Tulane University, where he built the academic skills that would shape his career. Dr. Sachs then earned his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine, graduating summa cum laude, spending years mastering the medical and surgical side of eye care. Dr. Sachs then completed an internship at Hartford Hospital, gaining hands-on experience with real patients in a clinical setting. Residency training at Montefiore Medical Center was where Dr. Sachs stepped into the chief resident role, earning recognition for his dedication and leadership. Most recently, Dr. Sachs completed fellowship training in Retinal Surgery, an experience that sharpened his skills and gave him real confidence in this area of eye care.
Dr. Sachs specializes in Diabetic Retinopathy and Macular Degeneration, areas where focused expertise makes a real difference for patients.
