SongEun Lee, MD, PhD, is a vitreoretinal surgeon & medical retina specialist who earned her medical degree from University Of Ulsan, College Of Medicine, setting the stage for a career focused on eye care. Dr. Lee then completed an internship at Lenox Hill Hospital, gaining hands-on experience with real patients in a clinical setting. Dr. Lee then trained as a resident at Asan Medical Center, where the focus was on building real-world experience with patients day after day. To cap off her education, Dr. Lee pursued a fellowship in Vitreoretinal, spending time learning the finer details of this specialty from experts in the field.
