Bio
Taj Khan, DO, FACS, is an oculoplastic surgeon who earned his medical degree from New York Institute of Technology’s College of Osteopathic Medicine, setting the stage for a career focused on eye care. Dr. Khan then trained as a resident at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where the focus was on building real-world experience with patients day after day. Most recently, Dr. Khan completed fellowship training in Oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery, an experience that sharpened his skills and gave him real confidence in this area of eye care. All of this adds up to a provider who is both well-trained and genuinely invested in helping every patient feel their best.
Specializing in Pterygium Surgery and Oculoplastic & Cosmetic Surgery is what sets Dr. Khan apart, and patients notice that depth of knowledge right from the start. Dr. Khan also has expertise in Blepharoplasty, and Ptosis Surgery, giving patients access to a wide range of care in one place. Dr. Khan understands that eye care can feel intimidating, which is why the priority is always to make the experience as comfortable and clear as possible. Each patient who comes in gets Dr. Khan's full attention and a clear, honest explanation of what is going on and what can be done about it.
Dr. Khan maintains professional ties through the American College of Surgeons, a sign of ongoing dedication to the craft of eye care. Dr. Khan is available at Associated Eye Physicians & Surgeons Union, Associated Eye Physicians & Surgeons Jersey City, or Associated Eye Physicians & Surgeons Rahway, so there are several convenient options for patients. Dr. Khan is the kind of provider who remembers what matters to each patient, and that shows in every visit. The practice is built around making patients feel at ease, and Dr. Khan is proud to be at the heart of that.
