Jason Cavanaugh, OD, is an optometrist who chose to pursue a career in eye care after completing undergraduate studies at Central Connecticut State University. Dr. Cavanaugh followed that with a Doctor of Optometry degree from New England College of Optometry, an experience that gave him strong clinical skills and a deep understanding of patient care. With two decades of experience behind him, Dr. Cavanaugh brings a depth of knowledge to every patient visit that only comes with time. Years of careful, step-by-step training have set Dr. Cavanaugh up to offer the kind of thorough, personalized care that patients deserve.

Dr. Cavanaugh has dedicated a significant part of his career to Comprehensive Eye Exams and Ocular Disease Management, and that shows in the quality of care patients receive. Finding the right contact lens is not always straightforward, especially for patients with irregular corneas or more complex prescriptions, and Dr. Cavanaugh has the training to make sure each fit is just right. In addition to those specialties, Dr. Cavanaugh works with patients who need help with Specialty Contact Lenses, and Scleral Contact Lenses as well. No matter what a patient comes in for, Dr. Cavanaugh takes the time to make sure they understand their options and feel comfortable with their care.
