Bio

Jerry W. Tsong, MD, is a retina specialist who began his education at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he first developed an interest in the science behind eye health. After that, Dr. Tsong completed his medical degree at Harvard Medical School, diving deep into the study of how the eye works and how to keep it healthy. Dr. Tsong then completed an internship at Mount Sinai Hospital, gaining hands-on experience with real patients in a clinical setting. Residency training at George Washington University Medical Center was where Dr. Tsong stepped into the chief resident role, earning recognition for his dedication and leadership. Most recently, Dr. Tsong completed fellowship training in Medical Retina, an experience that sharpened his skills and gave him real confidence in this area of eye care.

Dr. Tsong has dedicated a significant part of his career to Diabetic Retinopathy and Macular Degeneration, and that shows in the quality of care patients receive. Dr. Tsong understands that the retina is where clear vision starts, and takes that seriously by staying up to date on the latest ways to protect and treat it. Dr. Tsong also has expertise in Retinal Vascular Disorders, and Retinal Tears & Detachments, giving patients access to a wide range of care in one place.
