John Huang, MD, MBA, is a retina specialist who earned his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, setting the stage for a career focused on eye care. Dr. Huang then trained as a resident at Manhattan Eye, where the focus was on building real-world experience with patients day after day. Dr. Huang rounded out his training with a fellowship in Ocular immunology and Uveitis, which gave him a deep, focused understanding of the area where he now spends most of his time helping patients. Along the way, Dr. Huang took part in research that contributes to better treatments for eye conditions.
Dr. Huang specializes in Uveitis & Ocular Inflammation and Vitreoretinal Disorders, areas where focused expertise makes a real difference for patients. The retina plays a central role in how clearly you see, and when a condition starts to affect it, Dr. Huang is trained to identify the problem early and put together a plan to address it.
