Joseph Mekhail, MD, is a cataract surgeon & cornea specialist whose path to eye care started while studying at Georgetown University. After that, Dr. Mekhail completed his medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine, graduating cum laude, diving deep into the study of how the eye works and how to keep it healthy. After graduating, Dr. Mekhail completed a residency at Georgetown University / Washington Hospital Center, gaining the kind of patient-facing experience that no classroom can replicate. Dr. Mekhail has contributed to clinical research in eye care, showing a commitment that goes beyond just seeing patients.

When it comes to Dry Eye and Cataract Surgery, Dr. Mekhail brings both deep training and hands-on experience to every appointment.
