Bio

Mark Andrew, MD, is an ophthalmologist who earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College, setting the stage for a career focused on eye care. After graduating, Dr. Andrew completed a residency at Hahnemann University Hospital, gaining the kind of patient-facing experience that no classroom can replicate. Research has been a part of Dr. Andrew's career as well, bringing new knowledge into his everyday practice. All of this adds up to a provider who is both well-trained and genuinely invested in helping every patient feel their best.

Dr. Andrew's specialty areas include Advanced Cataract Surgery and General Ophthalmology, and that focused training is something patients benefit from right away. As the lens of the eye gradually clouds, it can take the sharpness out of everyday vision, and Dr. Andrew helps patients figure out the best way to address it when the time is right. Dr. Andrew also has expertise in Age-Related Eye Disease, and Intraocular Lens Implants (IOLs), giving patients access to a wide range of care in one place. Whether it is a routine check-up or something more involved, Dr. Andrew makes sure each patient leaves feeling informed and confident in their next steps.

40 patents for eye care innovations show that Dr. Andrew is focused on improving how conditions are managed, not just treating them. An NIH grant is among Dr. Andrew's accomplishments, reflecting a commitment to understanding eye health at the deepest level. Outside the office, Dr. Andrew enjoys running, a habit that keeps him active and energized. Patients can visit Dr. Andrew at ReFocus Eye Health Lumberton or ReFocus Eye Health Marlton, whichever location works best for them.
