Bio
Michelle L. White, MD, is a cataract, lasik, & cornea surgeon who earned her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine, setting the stage for a career focused on eye care. Residency training at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine was where Dr. White stepped into the chief resident role, earning recognition for her dedication and leadership. To cap off her education, Dr. White pursued a fellowship in Clinical cornea, spending time learning the finer details of this specialty from experts in the field. Dr. White has also been involved in clinical research, helping to advance how eye conditions are understood and treated.
Dr. White specializes in LASIK & Refractive Surgery and Cataract Surgery, areas where focused expertise makes a real difference for patients. As the lens of the eye gradually clouds, it can take the sharpness out of everyday vision, and Dr. White helps patients figure out the best way to address it when the time is right. LASIK is a procedure that many patients ask about, and Dr. White takes the time to walk through exactly how it works, what to expect, and whether it is a good fit. Dr. White also has expertise in General Ophthalmology, and Corneal Transplant Surgery, giving patients access to a wide range of care in one place.
Patients can visit Dr. White at ReFocus Eye Health Cheshire or ReFocus Eye Health Waterbury, whichever location works best for them.
