Nicole Teser, O.D. practices optometry after completing a Doctor of Optometry at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, where she also earned an additional Bachelor of Science. Her undergraduate work was at Salisbury University, where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in chemistry. Internships along the east coast — in Philadelphia, Fort Lauderdale, and northern Maryland — were followed by a residency in the treatment and management of ocular disease in Havre de Grace, Maryland.

Dr. Teser provides comprehensive eye care, including contact lens fittings and specialty lenses, and the management of ocular disease. She participates in pre- and post-operative care for refractive surgery patients and provides follow-up for those who have undergone cataract surgery. Dry eye and corneal disease are areas of particular interest — she has served as a clinical investigator in studies focused on both.

An active member of the American Optometric Association, Dr. Teser is licensed to practice optometry in both Virginia and Maryland. Patients can visit Dr. Teser at The Eye Center in Fairfax.
