Salvatore D. DeSimone, DO, is an ophthalmologist who chose to pursue a career in eye care after completing undergraduate studies at St. Joseph's University. Dr. DeSimone then earned his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, spending years mastering the medical and surgical side of eye care. Dr. DeSimone then completed an internship at Graduate Hospital, Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, gaining hands-on experience with real patients in a clinical setting. Dr. DeSimone completed his residency at Graduate Hospital, where he earned the distinction of chief resident, a role that recognizes both skill and leadership.

Dr. DeSimone's specialty areas include Cataract Surgery and Diabetic Eye Care, and that focused training is something patients benefit from right away.
