Butera, MD, FAAO, AAPOS, FAAP, is a pediatric ophthalmologist who earned her undergraduate degree from Otterbein University, setting the foundation for a career spent helping people see their best. Dr. Butera went on to earn her medical degree from Medical College of Ohio, where she gained a thorough grounding in the science and treatment of eye diseases. Dr. Butera finished her formal training with a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology, which allowed her to zero in on the kind of care she provides today.

Dr. Butera's specialty areas include Pediatric Strabismus & Amblyopia and Pediatric Eye Care, and that focused training is something patients benefit from right away. When it comes to younger patients, Dr. Butera understands that kids need extra patience and reassurance, which is why pediatric eye care is such an important part of this practice.
