Bio

William S. Potter, MD, is a pediatric ophthalmology & strabismus specialist who earned his medical degree from New York Medical College, setting the stage for a career focused on eye care. Dr. Potter completed his residency at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, where he spent years working closely with patients and refining his clinical skills. Dr. Potter rounded out his training with a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology, which gave him a deep, focused understanding of the area where he now spends most of his time helping patients. It is this kind of thorough preparation that allows Dr. Potter to approach each patient visit with both knowledge and confidence.

Specializing in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus is what sets Dr. Potter apart, and patients notice that depth of knowledge right from the start. Pediatric eye care is something Dr. Potter is especially attentive to, because the earlier a vision issue is caught and treated in a child, the better the outcome tends to be. Dr. Potter also has expertise in Pediatric Strabismus & Amblyopia, and Pediatric Eye Care, giving patients access to a wide range of care in one place. No matter what a patient comes in for, Dr. Potter takes the time to make sure they understand their options and feel comfortable with their care.

Being named a Top Doctor is something Dr. Potter takes seriously, and it reflects the care and attention that patients receive. You can find Dr. Potter at Greenwich Ophthalmology Associates, where the focus is on providing thorough care in a welcoming setting. Whether it is your first visit or one of many, Dr. Potter is glad to welcome you. Dr. Potter looks forward to getting to know each patient and helping them take care of their vision for years to come.
